Know Before You Go - Crystal Run 5K Fridays

A favorite spring evening running race series, Crystal Run 5K Fridays, is back again this year! Join the Crystal City BID and Pacers Running Stores every Friday in April at 6:30pm for one of the most popular and fun 5K races in the metro area! Racers will run a professionally timed and certified course along a fast and fun route through Crystal City! Be brave and run all four -- competing each week to beat your previous time and start your weekends off with a fit start!

This video shows you how easy it is to bike or use public transportation to get to the Crystal Run 5K Fridays' starting line. It's always better to know before you go!

There are many ways to get to Crystal Run 5K Fridays without a car:

1. Take the Blue or Yellow lines to the Crystal City Metro Station; then complete the trip with a short walk.

2. Or come by Metrobus. The 9A - line runs from Pentagon to Huntington; 10A - line runs from Pentagon to Hunting Point; or the 23A - line runs from Crystal City/Tysons to Westpark.

3. Try out Capital Bikeshare for an active and fun way to get to the race.
