Saturday, April 19, 2014
What: Join Arlington Historical Society on a guided tour of Washington's Forest. Kevin Vincent, a member of the Arlington Historical Society, will lead the tour; Kevin has done extensive research on the early history of Arlington and designed this walk for Walk Arlington. On the walk, you'll see the Ball-Sellers House (the oldest house in Arlington), visit the survey markers used by Washington in 1785, and visit the site of a mill built by George Washington Parke Custis, Washington’s step-grandson.
Participants should wear good walking shoes and be able to walk up to 4 miles of easy terrain.
