Arlington County Fair

Wednesday, August 6, 2014

Every day through 8/10/2014

Thomas Jefferson Community Center
3501 Second Street South
Arlington, VA 22204

Exhibits, midway rides and games, entertainment, vendors, racing piglets, and more. Each year Thomas Jefferson Community Center is transformed into a special place with something for everyone to see. Admission is free, and shuttle service is provided from locations throughout Arlington.

The theme of this year’s Fair is “Urban Adventure,” and we suggest you get started by exploring the Fairground and visit these booths -- BikeArlington, Car-Free Diet, and the Mobile Commuter Store.

And if you have any youngsters in your party, stop by the indoor Fair information desk to pick up a copy of the official WalkArlington Scavenger Hunt (PDF, 1.78MB), a fun-filled way to explore all facets of the Fair. Designed for kids 12 and under, the Scavenger Hunt asks five easy questions designed to take kids on a journey around the Fairgrounds, indoors and out.

Start your self-guided WalkArlington Scavenger Hunt anytime during Fair hours on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, August 8, 9, and 10.  The Hunt begins wherever you want and ends at the Car-Free Diet booth (conveniently located outside next to the playground).  That’s where kids who turn in their answers will receive a prize!  As a bonus, kids who submit a drawing of their favorite part of the Fair will have their artwork posted on WalkArlington.com and featured on our Facebook page!
