Junior Ranger Ride or Walk

BikeArlington and WalkArlington invite you and your kiddos to come along with us as we learn about the National Park in our backyard—The George Washington Memorial Parkway.
There are two great ways to join in on the fun: a walk hosted by WalkArlington and a bike ride hosted by Kidical Mass and BikeArlington. National Parks Service Rangers will join both groups and share family-friendly information and neat activities. At the end of the event, everyone gets sworn in as Junior Rangers!
Both the walk and bike ride are geared towards families and kids, so the pace will be casual and slow. Everyone is welcome.
When you sign up, please choose whether you will be joining us for the walk or the bike ride. Note: the starting locations are different, (Ride begins at Marine Corps Memorial; walk begins at Theodore Roosevelt Island footbridge, near the bike racks) but both events will finish at Theodore Roosevelt Island for a joint Junior Ranger ceremony.
