Metrobus

Metrobus, the D.C. area's regional bus service, operates more than 20 major bus lines in Arlington, with about 100 individual route variations. Generally, Metrobus operates the most heavily-used routes along Arlington's main streets while ART, Arlington's local bus system, operates smaller buses to serve more Arlington neighborhoods. Metrobus, Metrorail, and MetroAccess are the components of the Metro system, operated by the Washington Metropolitan Transit Authority (WMATA).
