Transportation Options

Metrorail:

• Shuttle buses replace trains between King Street & Franconia-Springfield due to summer construction work through July 26th.
• Blue Line trains are operating between Downtown Largo and National Airport only. Use Yellow Line/free shuttles to continue trip.

ART:

• Military Rd/Custis Project - ART 56 Impact
  Beginning Monday, June 30, 2025, the northbound bus stop at Military Rd/25th Rd N (Stop Id# 6001028) will relocate approximately 120ft. south for approximately four months due to construction activity at the roundabout. Bus service may experience delays.
• Service Changes on ART Routes 43, 52, and 72 Effective July 6, 2025
  Starting July 6, 2025, ART will be making minor adjustments to ART Routes 43, 52, and 72. On street schedules may reflect the service change schedule before the effective date. Please check our website for the most updated schedules. https://www.arlingtontransit.com/routes-schedules/schedules/
• ART Route 45 - Bus Stop Closure
  Stop at Columbia Pike @ S Walter Reed Dr (Northbound) will not be served 4/28/2025 - 7/28/2025 due to construction. Transit customers can board ART Arlington and Metrobus at Columbia Pike and S Highland St. (across from McDonalds).
• ART Route 42 - Bus Stop Relocation
  Stop at Columbia Pike @ S Scott St (Eastbound) will not be served 4/28/2025 - 7/28/2025 due to construction. Customers can board ART Arlington and Metrobus beside the "Lancaster Bldg."
