Transportation Options

Metrorail:

• Branch Avenue, Suitland and Naylor Road stations are closed through August 31st due to summer construction. Free shuttle buses are available between Branch Avenue and Southern Avenue. Info: https://www.wmata.com/majorconstruction
• Express shuttle bus service is available between Branch Avenue and Southern Avenue through August 31st.
• Expect delays to Greenbelt because of a police investigation at Mount Vernon Square.

ART:

• ART Route 51 - Detour
  Detour on ART Route 51 - Stop at Patrick Henry Dr @ N Harrison St (Northbound) will not be served between 10:13 AM and 11:59 PM due to road closure
• ART Route 52 - Detour
  Detour on ART Route 52 - Stops at 26th St N @ N Sycamore St (both directions) will not be served between 6:53 AM and 11:59 PM due to road closure
• Columbia Pike Multimodal Project, Segment C - Bus Stop Relocation
  Due to traffic pattern changes from the Columbia Pike Multimodal Project, beginning today, August 4, 2025, Bus Stop Regional ID 6000263 will return to the southwest corner of Columbia Pike and S Scott. In front of the Wellington Apts.
• Military Rd/Custis Project - ART 56 Impact
  Beginning Monday, June 30, 2025, the northbound bus stop at Military Rd/25th Rd N (Stop Id# 6001028) will relocate approximately 120ft. south for approximately four months due to construction activity at the roundabout. Bus service may experience delays.
