Metrorail:

ART:

  • ART Route 77 - Detour
    Detour on ART Route 77 - Stops at S Courthouse Rd @ 5th St S (Northbound) and S Courthouse Rd @ 2nd St S (Northbound) will not be served between 7:43 AM and 11:59 PM due to construction
  • ART Route 62 - Detour
    Detour on ART Route 62 - Stops at Wilson Blvd @ 10th St N (Eastbound) and Clarendon Blvd @ N Highland St (Eastbound) will not be served between 7:10 AM and 11:59 PM due to construction
  • 2024 Zero Prostate Cancer 5K Run/Walk
    ART Route 87 will detour on Saturday, June 15, from 6am - 11am due to road closures, bus stops on Army Navy Drive between Joyce St. and 25th St, and between 15th St S and Army Navy Dr. will not be served. Customers can board ART service in the Avalon Bay and Nauck communities.
  • 27th Annual Blues Festival
    Columbia Pike Blues Festival Celebrates Women in Blues in its 27th Year on Saturday, June 15. ART Route 77 will detour beginning at S Walter Reed Drive and Columbia Pike from 7:00am -10:30pm. ART bus stops located on S Walter Reed Drive at 8th St S and 9th St S will be temporarily closed. Intending Customers can board/alight ART 77 on S Walter Reed Drive & Columbia Pike in the southbound/northbound directions to Shirlington Transit Center and Courthouse Station. ART Route 45 is not affected by the festival and will operate without detouring.
  • Fare Change Effective July 1st

  • New Route 56 Effective July 1st

  • 21st St. N Bridge over I-66 Project
    Beginning Monday, June 3 the 21st Street North bridge over I-66 will be open to northbound traffic only for approximately two months due to deck work, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation. ART 61 will detour using Langston Blvd. Bus Stops at N Uhle St, N Troy St, and N Scott will be out of service during duration of project.
  • Columbia Pike Multimodal Project, Segment F - Bus Stop Relocations
    On Monday, April 15, the westbound bus stop on Columbia Pike and S. Taylor St. (Regional ID 6000191) will temporarily relocate to the corner of Columbia Pike and S. Wakefield St. for a period of 12-16 weeks. Routes affected: ART 41.
  • Columbia Pike Multimodal Project, Segment F - Bus Stop Relocations
    On Monday, April 15, the westbound bus stop on Columbia Pike and S. George Mason Dr. (Regional ID 6000203) will temporarily relocate approximately 400ft west, adjacent to the Harris Teeter grocery store for 12-16 weeks. Routes affected: ART 41.
