Owner Jose Lopez moved to the US in 1999 and landed a job with a Korean boss who gave him the opportunity to grow. The concept of one immigrant working for another gave him inspiration to open his own business. In 2014 and with enough experience, he did just that. With a passion for cooking, Jose has expanded and currently has other locations in Maryland with this latest addition on Columbia Pike. He suggests the club, a classic sandwich with which you can’t go wrong. He highly suggests you give the chipotle chicken sandwich a try — a slightly spicy sandwich, with chicken, avocado and pepper jack cheese. During summer hours, stop in and refresh with a smoothie or milkshake.

Jose's deli is a popular lunch destination for many, attracting both residents of the neighborhood and service members from the nearby Pentagon.
