Rodolfo, better known as Fito, is the owner of the Peruvian restaurant, Inca Social. If the name sounds familiar, it’s because he’s also the co-owner of Courthaus Social on Wilson Boulevard. Born in Puerto Rico to Peruvian parents, “Fito” grew up around Peruvian cuisine, which he portrays today on the menu at Inca Social. At the age of 18, he started doing marketing for bars and dance clubs. He quickly transitioned to bartender and waiter. From there, he started his own restaurant/dance club. Next came Courthaus Social and now Inca Social, located in Rosslyn. Fito was happy to see how connected the space is to public transit and bike lanes. Of his 70 employees, nearly 30 use some mode of public transportation to get to work. He states most people come by Metro, bus and/or walk. He also noticed that besides local business from the neighborhood, several customers come from DC.

The menu is a mix of classic dishes such as ceviche, lomo saltado, empanadas and anticucho (marinated beef heart). For those seeking a unique experience, there's the option to explore Peruvian sushi. Taking it up a notch, try the fusion lomo a la huancaina: tender beef fillet with an oyster and soy sauce, served atop linguini with a rich huancaina sauce (a traditional Peruvian sauce, one of the most famous condiments in Peruvian cuisine). The décor adds to the Peruvian ambiance incorporating touches with indigenous Incan design such as the neon Nazca drawings. Don't hesitate any longer – go and satisfy your cravings.
